It really doesn't help that my 2 favorite chassis are the Cata and Stalker so I would like your thoughts on the matter.

My worry with the Ilya is will it just feel like im driving a slightly different 3D?

My worry with Misery is the That 1 ballistic slot will not turn out as fun as i thought it would on a Stalker

So like I said the chassis i like equally . Gimme input! plz!

Also in the world of Clan mechs with so much fire power which would fare better?

P.S. funny story , I asked TOLD the old lady i was going to spend 55 bucks on a giant clan robot and she said "what is it made of gold? " I said "funny you should ask that...."

Misery and mets are both a lot of fun! The mets can load 3 uac5s and 3mlas and put on a lot of damage as direct fire support. The misery does asymmetric builds really well, showing a shield side to enemies between alphas of 40 or so damage. The reduced range and speed of the ac20 hit it hard, but I still like 2 ppcs and an ac20 all on the left best of the builds the misery can offer.

ugh :)

see this is my problem 3 uac 5's sound fuuuuun or just 3 ball slots

and a stalker with a Ball sounds fuuuuun

Ok if they are both equally fun and you could get one atm which would you get first?

I have both, and love both, but if I had to choose I would go for my Misery. As I've mentioned elsewhere, that's my go-to-'Mech when nothing else works - I always seem to do well in that thing for some reason! :)

It can take an incredible beating under the right circumstances, and give as good as it gets.

Ilya. Cataphract is imo a better chassis. Misery in itself is a lot of fun, but the rest of Stalkers are completely and totally outclassed by Battlemasters.

Every single Cataphract - with the exception of 2X - is a straight G bossmeal.

Headbasher, I don't pilot either have a grudge against both for "winning the meta/fad of the month" over mechs I like artistically. As much as I would rather have a stalker on my team with fire support for the medium and lights I normally play, mobility of ilya > power of misery, but mechbay of stalkers is more helpful and diverse than mechbay of phracts, IMO.

Helmstiff, what is wrong or hard about the 2x, did you mean 4x b/c the engine is capped low? What goes wrong with two srms in an arm?

Edited for incorrect autocorrect.!! Haha
