Machine Gun Nerf - Huge

WOW on paper the machine gun decrease seem minor..BUT (rant is in bold)

My mech went from 29 to 25 fire power.

It feels like to make the Clan OP you nerfed other mechs as well as gave them advantage. It seems very pay to win a lobby shooter.

Can I presume I buy a mech for $ with but its nerfed to promote your new $ product... You have decrease the value of my already purchased produce to make more money? Interesting.



Even my Cicada is nerfed and has some slot violation how. It was already weak... I can't believe it.

All of these FTP PTW games.... None succeed to the level of a good pay MMO (for players) but I guess they make money (succeed for company). Its not a future focused on the players enjoyment... I prefer pay monthly to play and having fully finished games that have all the bells and whistles - Instead of bugs and excuses.

The machine guns were and weren't nerfed. Here is why, a hit reg bug was detected that was causing MGs to be doing 20% less of their hits and thus less damage. By fixing the hit reg, the power of the MG went up drastically, as their power isnt in their damage but their crit ability, and they are now hitting 20%. They adjusted to compensate, but technically you'll still be critting open segments a lot more than previously. Don't always trust paper doll calculations about weapons. Some of them register the MG as 1.0 Firepower before and .8 now, or they could register it as .1 previously and .08 now. Either way the weapon is still doing the same damage, but the hits always land now if you are on target.

I've read that before (A while ago there was another bug decreasing weapon damage and they fixed it, so they also nerfed the weapon by that same amount. Result: The weapon does less damage than it did before).

I don't know if it's because the bugs affect people with low pings less (or not at all), or what...

Ya it still means pin point laser damage is now better.. Spider mech is very nerfed for jenner or other laser mounted light mech.
