For me the video provided a good source of Info and Ideas, however I feel like you could convey all the key information in half the time. I hope my reply is taken as constructive feedback, keep up the good work.

Well, I bought the 9R, duplicated the LPL +3ML setup, and rocked with it:
PANTHER PNT-9R 13 7 6 1.17 19 6 3.17 3,919 16,235 01:58:54
The mech is simply murderous, as long as you don't stop repositioning.

Now I've started working on the 10K. I kinda suck with PPCs, but the velocity bonus really helps and I actually get hits in more often than not...

While leveling my 9R, starting from scratch with the lplas and 3mlas build, I had a helluva night last night. Ended up basicing the mech quickly, with a 6.0 kdr in it. In mostly hot maps while barely working on basics. This thing is sick.

Edit: stats included:

PANTHER PNT-9R 8 6 2 3.00 12 2 6.00 2,657 15,302 01:00:55

Thanks Silra,

Useful info on the variants.

Any advice on the role that the Panther is best suited for? I've been struggling with it. It doesn't seem great at sniping due to the arm mount and brawling with the stock weapon set up didn't go well for me either.

Any thoughts anyone?

Cheers

I use it well as mid-range support. Shoot & scoot, side-poke, something between a Raven and a Griffin. Hang with the big boys at the start of the match and try to shoot whoever they're shooting. Then as the game devolves into a hapless melee, try to flank and poke at exposed components or rears. If facing fast lights, shoot and run towards the team.

Thanks - that's good advice. Almost play them like a medium then?

A very fragile medium, yes.
