Heya, wanted to share a build I've been enjoying on my Timberwolf:

Build - 2 x LRM5 [180] - 4 x ERML - 2 x AC5 [360] - CAP

The LRMs are used for target control, people hide or turn around when they see Missile Incoming, even if it's only 10! They also help in ranged fights and can be used to help allies at a distance.

Dual AC5s deal your damage and shake peoples screen, ERML provide extra support.

I always try to include an Active Probe, but it's not necessarily required if you want more ammo or extra armour (a few points have been stripped to fit everything in). There's also 1 Jump Jet to help with terrain negotiation and an extra heat sink.

You shouldn't overheat if you control when you use your lasers, and your AC5s can fire forever.

Don't know how it compares to other builds, but I found it suits my playstyle. Aggressive with options for all ranges and tons of fun.

This is an interesting build, I may give it a try. I already have a Prime build that I like with the S shoulders, but putting the Prime shoulders on the C variant works fine, and gets both the ACs on the right side.

We'll see how that works out.

I've been running this with alot of success.

I tend to use the LLs for stripping armor at range and the mediums for knocking a hole in their armor for my LBX to poke when I'm closer. It works wonders on people.
