In the first line you complain about wasted clicks, then you propose to introduce more wasted clicks? Please, no.

*Facepalm*
That's a given. This is for the extra fluff PGI can work on while working on the big stuff. Niko explains this in his post.

- press tab once, you fire weapon one by one.
- press tab twice, you fire weapon two by two : if you have 6 lasers, it fires 2 then 2 then 2, if you have 5 lasers, it fires 2 then 2 then the last one (or the opposite : the single laser first).
- press tab twice (alternative) you fire weapon half by half : if you have 6 lasers, it fires 3 then 3, if you have 5 lasers, it fires 3 then 2 (or the opposite).

- AMS beeing toggable
- Harpoint layout
- HTAL Diagramm
- Mouswheel bindable
- FOV slider
Especially the first four things would make me a happy Mechwarrior.
Why don't you link that thread in the General Discussion section of the forum? I guess more people would vote if you were to put a link there. I only found this poll by accident...it's too hidden for most of the people I think.

Thank you for showing some signs of interest in community opinion.
However, that said, this list of "features" seems to me to be minor with very little significant impact on the game while, at least in my opinion, there are far more pressing and important features that should be scheduled before any of these features.
1) Significant revision of UI 2.0 to improve workflows and add needed functionality.
The current UI looks nice but has so many bottlenecks, difficulty finding things (even finding mechs since all the models of a particular mech aren't even grouped together or even alphabeitcally), double-click functionality, the list is at least as long as the one in your poll AND every item on it has a higher priority in my opinion compared to the poll items.
2) Matchmaker.
I know the revised matchmaker is being worked on and should be out in a few weeks but matchmaker features like unlimited group size matching (and others that may not be in the revision) are also far more important than the items in the poll.
3) Lobbies and social tools.
Unless you connect with folks through a web-site or other out of game method like teamspeak ... there is no way to form up groups within the game except the limited friends functionality. The game really needs more social interaction support features ... if not some sort of support for in-game VOIP.
4) Revised mech xp system.
The current mech xp system is BORING. It provides no incentive for players to play the game beyond mastering the first few mechs ... it provides no incentive to play different variants, to apply mech xp to each variant differently in order to make them more suitable for different roles. In short, the current mech xp system is a band aid that was put on in closed beta since something was needed but it could be far more interesting and far more of a motivator to get folks interested and keep them interested in playing the game. XP system upgrades rank far higher for me than any of the minor items on your list.
Finally, as the topic you linked to indicates ... it is a list of "SMALL" things to fix. Please address the big things before turning your attention to the small things ... you will end up with a much better game in the end.
Edit: It would be nice to get status updates for the big things as well as soliciting information on which of the little things were of the most interest. From a community standpoint, I think all of the big things rank far higher than these smaller items.

- a "Smurfy"-style 'MechLab format (when modifying a configuration), and
- toggle functionality for TAG.
^^ this would be 100% if it were an option.

Is it? LOL
Seriously, lots of good things on the list, some stupid things, some things that one would think would be basic in any game of this type already.
Sadly, none of these things are going to make any difference without CW. It's not like people are going to be like "Oh really? Bitching Betty now says "TARGET DESTROYED"?? Oh, well, here, take my money, I'm going to call in sick to work and play more........LMAO

- Add Betty Voiceovers such as Target Destroyed YES because sometimes happen that someone says: "hey DELTA is gone or not?"
- Add weapon location to HUD weapon lists YES it's really important if you want to group weapons considering by sides
- Add zoom functionality to the minimap YES especially the DECREASE ZOOM function, because the radar range is higher than the minimap range
- Add option to switch in-game paper-doll for a HTAL diagram NECESSARY like in previous MW chapters
- Add scale indicators to battle maps why not?
- Add Option for group chain fire NECESSARY
- Add customizable hardpoint ordering NECESSARY
- Add a mouse wheel binding in control options YES why not?
- Add option to automatically re-stock consumables YES come on, if I use the same consumables, I don't want to re add every time
- Update damage/incoming indicators to make them more noticeable YES why not?

Exactly. We're not ignoring the big feature requests like Collisions and CW. These are fixes/additions that can be handled in at 2-4 week dev cycle. This is the first of many polls to come as we address the communities wishes.

-Scout target info incoming (How to implement this?)
-Weapon Jammed (Sure, why not)
-Warning! Targeted (I can see how this might get annoying)
-Enemy Detected (Again, I can see how frequent this would be)
-Out of range (Not sure about the implementation)
-Friendly base is being captured (Useful for Conquest, thumbs up)
-Overheating (Sure, why not)
And a whole mess of lance/company leader voice commands (not Betty).
You can check Betty "Target Destroyed" off the list. Pretty easy to salvage it from existing Betty audio, here, done for you:

When this stuff gets integrated: sh*t's gunnna be gooooooood
EDIT: OH GOOD GOD THERE IS A SOUND FILE FOR "EJECT"
YES PLEASE
