would love to have a toggle weapon group key to toggle between weapon groups on one button.

That way you could make a macro on that button to: fire one group, toggle to next, fire group two. This would allow us to fire grouped weapons in succession.

Mouse button 1 fire group, mouse button 2 switch group. Lather, rinse, repeat.

How about a scrollable chat with kill messages that do not disappear before you can see who killed you?

A few options I miss from the MechWarrior 4 Merc days are:

-A chat box that can be made larger to read more lines of chat/or slider to read previous lines of text. Especially useful after one dies and you are just following the game play. Would like an off toggle to AI generated text like (xxx pilot leaving the match)
-A decent sized mini-map that can be toggled up and left on HUD during the game. Note Mektec added a range scale to the torso axes that was a nice touch. Really helped to estimate range to a target or get compass bearings to a mark.
-Selectable navigation points like enemy base, friendly base, center of map, or just map designated A, B, C...
-An active/passive radar state (like MW4) that would change your mechs signature to enemy sensors (poor pilots ECM)
-Brighter IS pilots HUD lines. I find the clan's bright blue much superior to the IS's washed out yellow. Again MW4's bright green was better than both MWO modes.
-PLEASE give me a rear view!!!! TV camera, mirror, periscope, Google Glass HUD, I Do Not Care.... MW4 had both rear and bottom view remote cameras.

I could probably think of many more but what I would love the most in game is More, Bigger, Interesting Maps (Not one trick ponies/grand displays of art like Terra Therma), and Game Modes!!!! Give me a fortified base, dropship spaceport, A large port's shipyard, an industrial complex with turrents, Tanks, security Urbies, all AI scripted to react to our movements and game plan. MW4 had all these in November of 2000 for Gods sake !!!!

Lastly give us five times our current number of selectable maps plus selectable Day/Night, various weather/visability conditions on each and we would have heaven on earth in this game. (Though MW4 had all of these too... maybe we could get back there again someday.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just the right arrow by default? Then use the "fire currently selected weapon group" key?

Betty needs to say incoming ordinance if arty/air is going to hit your coordinantes, warning you have been narc'd and possibly uav launch detected.

I don't think it's much of a poll when i think 90% of those in it should already be in game...

AMS toggle would be nice, as would 90% of the others. But i guess i'll go with my first choice.

Well then, I too would add HTAL; and global chain fire for consideration...

(without a fix to Heat Capacity, which could could make global chain fire irrelevant and would be prefered over such a global chain fire)! ;)

The ability to only queue against people using 1st person (without having enough people on hand to queue as a 12 man at the drop of a hat) is a feature I would need in order to consider returning.

Is it missing from the poll because it's already been reversed since I quit (like the existence of the general discussion forum)?

This is the useless fluff poll, intended for stuff that can be thrown in a 2-4 week basis. Read the OP.

Maps and game modes are coming, have you been in the PT lately?

Populate the in-cockpit monitors with status/kill/assist/damage readouts instead of 'no ammo loaded'.

Huh... they've been working on a number of things on this list.
  • Target Destroyed message (although it should be The B33f saying "kill secured")
  • AMS toggle (today, along with bonus ECM toggle)
  • Color coded chat messages (screenshots shown yesterday, so Soon)
  • Auto-restock of consumables
  • Mouse wheel binding
Probably some more too. Interedasting!

Ok for a few weeks you gave us an awesome tool. Home page, select mech, you could manage ALL your modules, and see weapons load outs. This was an outstanding tool for hunting down modules, and swapping mechs real fast while in drops. Then you took it away and made it consumables only? WHY? WHY? WHY? to what end? What was the harm in being able to change all modules???????????????

what possible purpose does it serve to nerf something that was actually useful? And now, with auto refill, that menu is basically useless again, absolutely no reason to use it. You want to change mech you now have to go through all the mech lab menus and go all the way to modules to configure. That select menu actually made it easy to swap mechs while group dropping and not take 5 minutes a pop to do it.

Drives me nuts to constantly see you guys take one step forward , and immediately, take 2 or more backwards.

This is the perfect example of why people have no faith in you guys. You do something right...then take it away.
