1. There aren't.

2. Yes. Pods from the -S variant allow that.

1. What makes you think they are not charging?. With macro or practice you can fire a gauss with a ppc for example, with both firi g at the same time or nearly so.

2. Modify the required omnipods andthe TBR can indeed be a jumper.

The charging light doesn't turn green on players you spectate, if that's what you're seeing. The game doesn't show you other people's weapon groups.

I was just spectating people right before I came to the forums and I could certainly see their weapons groups.

I specifically noticed this because one of them - and only one of them - had all his weapons on one group. Others had weapons on multiple groups, like any experienced player does.

Or did you mean "the game doesn't show you the charging/cooldown on other people's weapon groups"?

You see weapon groups, but they're not accurate. Sometimes they are, sometimes they're yours, sometimes there's no rhyme or reason. Had a couple "why are your weapons grouped that way?" "They're not" conversations in group.

Then I'd say it was at least inconsistent. Several times I've been spectating people and their weapons fire in combinations that do not match the groups I can see.

But definitely, I've heard the charge up sound effect with no corresponding change around the reticle or in the weapons display. Regardless of whether the game always shows you their groups or not.

Note: You can't hear an enemy charging their Gauss Rifle. I'm saddened by this but it's true.

Everyone has to charge it, but sometimes you click, hold just before you can say "1" and release.

Timber Wolf can use jumpjets if it equips one of the "S" side torsos.

The S side torso makes missile reload time take longer, punishes torso twist speed, and overheat damage is increased. But in exchange you get twin missile racks, in my opinion the best side torso weapon slots (ballistic or for the other side ballistic and laser and twin missiles), and the ability to mount jumpjets.

If you stack both S side torsos, you can get some incredible jump height; but you'll be virtually worthless in a close range fight.

I usually throw the Gauss rifle in all weapon groups with one group for the Gauss riffles themselves. The 6 boxes light up at the same time so you get better visual confirmation and should you suddenly feel the need to use other weapons---not taking your time to shoot but for a suddenly: Atlas! moment---then firing the other weapons automatically charges the riffles. Takes some practice but works well with some weapons like the ERLL where you need to keep the target in sight long enough to charge and let go for a small afterkick.

Having said that, I prefer PPCs over ERLL with my Gauss.
