"try before you buy" good opportunity to promote clan mechs and trial mechs for what they are designed for, advertising.

... well I could see clan mechs as trials in a few month (when they are available for MC/CB) - but right now - as a person who payed 240$ to get access to it I say no. You don't want to pay for clan-mechs - fine then you have to wait.

Voted yes...
However, I can see MilesTeg1982's point about waiting for them to be available as trail 'Mechs. But, on the other hand, trail 'Mechs cannot be customized, so it's still not the same.
Also, Clan trail 'Mechs should only be the stock versions. No Champion versions. They're good enough in stock form.

The thing about Clan 'Mechs is that they are very difficult to play well, especially for newcomers. I would not want to be responsible for placing a brand new pilot into a stock Nova with no efficiencies.
