The Jihad is quite a ways off. At the very least, we'd have to go through the FedCom Civil War. That alone might take years from now to happen, if at all.

Stop being reasonable. People (in fact, I bet you were one of them) said the same thing about the Clan invasion WAAAAY back when.

Granted, we DID end up missing the original time alloted for the Clan invasion, but that is neither here nor there .

And TBH, especially given how sweet the dakka has been in the Clan packs... I wouldn't mind getting all of the sweet, sweet bling available in MW4:Mercs (courtesy of Mektek).

And then maybe, MAYBE, after EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF TECH IS IMPLEMENTED INTO THE GAME, RIGHT DOWN TO THE PILOT SIDEARMS... MAYBE then we can consider CW or new maps.

The Clan Invasion is a bad example...the game was originally set right around 3050-ish, which just so happens to be right around when teh Clanz invaded.

Maybe call it the garrison pack?

3: How about an IS retaliation pack after the Clan reinforcements pack with IS large pulse lasers, etc.

With the exact same IS battlemech customization rules but with access to nothing but clantech? Can't come up with a more terrible idea.

Well, it would be hillarious, especially when you could have it literally be atlas II ,jenner IIC, hunchback IIc, and a orion IIc or maybe add in an apocryphal catapult IIc?

It would be an enhanced version of the starting designs, and allow for clan battlemechs to be used, and seriously though, who doesn't want a 50 ton medium with 2 UAC20 by default?

That is what a battlemech is after all. The jenner IIC doesn't even need an egine upgrade it comes with one of good enough size for all the speed freeks here.
