Does anyone have a video (Koniving maybe?) yet of the different Clan auto-cannons?
I've been hit by a few now to know what a clan ultra-ac5 sound (and feels) like, but I'd love to see how all the others work. Ultra ac2 - does it shoot two, then double tap with two on the cool down, etc, etc. And how is the jam rate as compered to IS? How is the Clan LBX20?

I can tell you offhand that the Ultra 2 is a real blast to play with. Shoots two, if you double-shot it it'll fire another two, and even if it jams it unlocks fairly quickly, so despite its low damage/heat ratio it's still a pretty decent annoyance weapon. :D
Same goes for the LB-2 X, it's super fun to use, and evidently the LB-2 X's aren't affected by ghost heat like Ultra 2's are (my 6 LB-2 X build has no heat warning but the Ultra 2 one does)
As for the larger caliber cannons, you're on your own for the moment.

All LB-X ACs are exempt from ghost heat, probably because they can't be used for long range pinpoint alpha strikes. They are however remarkably effective at enhancing clan mech frontloaded damage, though they aren't accurate by any definition.
As for the regular clan AC/s, the bigger ones have slower, longer bursts with more damaging shots. For example it takes about 3 seconds to get a full Ultra AC/20 double shot out, it will fire 5 rather slow projectiles for 4 damage each per shot, this makes it by far the hardest AC to use effectively. The Ultra AC/10 is in my opinion the best clan AC for concentrated damage, followed closely by the Ultra AC/5.

I've read the mechanics over at Smurfy - just want to see them in action and compared. In action not pointed at me - for once.
