Mechs with hands are part of the universe. You don't like it, go find another universe.

This universe is not big enough for the 2 of you?

I want to bang my head against a wall.

Only, these walls are just not hard enough...

I vote no!!

Im not even 100% sure what OP is suggesting. That they dont release any more of the chassis that have hands. Or they that dont include the hands even when they are supposed to be there. Either way .. nooooooooo. Its a ridiculous idea.

As everyone else said it part of the universe. It has a legitimate reason to be there. Sure you cant do anything with them in game but so what?

I don't see the problem you guys have with hands?
- i knew a friend that don't like humanoid mechs - but he would never be so bold to insult me with forcing me only to use avoid mechs. That is the thing you do - you are insulting us

Should all the mechs look like those odd - mw4 mechs with guns instead of hand actuators?

The same is to wish - no legs for mechs give them tracks or hover movement.
Or make that the AC 2 fired smart guided shells with nuclear warheads at 120km range

514yer had it right. Instead of requesting less hands, request more Hatchetman. You'll be wishing you had hands when that hatchet is caving your cockpit in.

I didn't like them from the start, either, but now, I quite like the non-anime ones. :D

there are mechs with hands, there are mechs w/o hands... i like those w/o hands more, just like those which are not too "Gundamish" or human like...

BUT... like i said, there are those, and there are those... i don´t like soup... but i don´t care if my favourite diner sells soup, as long as i get my Burgers :D

Can you please please stop with the HANDS on the Mechs :D

The MWO staff have clearly stated that they intend to one day try to incorporate melee combat into MWO.

Keeping the hands as a holdover from the original battletech designs is likely intentional.

And the FEET on the mechs too, please stop with with those! Mechs should be hobbling around on peg legs not running gracefully through the forests like an ELF!

This game is based on an IP. In that IP some of the giant killer robot thingies have hands. The technobabble/gameplay reasoning behind why they should or should not is irrelevant.

If you don't like the aesthetics of hands. Well, you will get over it.

You might as well complain that you don't like the color of the lasers or that the air freshener hanging in your cockpit is not the right scent.

You know I think they should add in smash and grab missions that would be very fun one team attacks the other defends. I would also like to be able to pick up another mech and start smashing.

Being able to interact with the environment like using your hands to push a wall down to make a ramp. Ok sure you don't need hands to do that if you don't want to keep all your armor.

They're also really useful for if you get swarmed by Elementals! Get them off! Get them off! getthemoff getthemoffgetthemoffgetthemoffgetthemoff.

This made me laugh so much and is exactly the reason why Mechs that were designed with hands should have hands :(

I like hands, they good for those long lonely patrols when its just you and your monthly issue of mechs unchained.
