Currently the light mech do more damage than the Assault and heavy mech... Something is wrong with this game.

They do more damage because in 90% of the time they will be ignored till no other mech is on the battlefield, or they have ecm and are harder to target/find.

Jump in a commando or locust and you will see how figuratively speaking people will shrug and kill something else than you.

Must be why they are the most popular mechs on the waiting queue.....
OH WAIT.. Lights are the LEAST popular mechs on the waiting queue !!

Being in an Assault or Heavy mech does not magically improve the damage of Terribad pilots.
Meanwhile it takes decent effort to get decent damage and kills in a light just because you are a fast 1shotted wonder.
