I know I've asked a few times in a few different threads but I still have not seen a responce from the Devs, may be I just don't know what obsure thread they may have answered this question in so here is a dedicated thread to my question.

Q: Will all founder pack buyers (VETERAN, ELITE, & LEGENDARY) be given the same chance to get a beta key for the closed beta invites you're planing to release prior to Aug 7th?
* Is there a preffrence given to Legendary members first?
* Is it those that bought their Founders Pack in the first 12, 24, 36 hours ect.?
* Or are we all just completly random without any special favour regaurdless of which Pack we bought? (Kind of the same as the 1st part of my question but the difference is no favour for being a Founder Pack owner)


I just hope that they dont only consider the new Ledendary Founders for the closed beta before Aug 7th, I was so looking forward to getting access on July 17th (Damn that's my Bday) then they push out the date...and I get a PENDING present instead Awww LOL! ( At least for the moment; wink, wink)

They've really liked random so far, but that is just a guess. They could very well go Legend first.

I can't see them caring who got their pack first.

I'd just like to see a fair chance for those of us founder pack buyers that are pending to get a crack at the game as soon as the Devs will let us.

I wish i could remember the thread but I do believe the second round of beta that begins on the 10th of july they are going to pull first from the founder pool. It was in the dev update from a day or 2 ago.

They did say in the last Dev update that "On July 10th, we are scheduled to move to our production hardware, allowing many thousands of simultaneous players to enjoy the game, also known internally as the launch of Closed Beta 2. As we continue to ramp up the beta testers (drawn from those early purchasers of the Founder’s Program), the next milestone is the injection of the Founder’s Program assets on Aug. 7th."

I think it will continue to be random. I don't think they do any favoritism around here. So basically I don't think you can "buy" a closed beta invite.

personaly the fact the people put forth a chunk of change towards this game should get them first crack at beta before aug 7th....providing the they meet the beta standards for what they are testing at that time (Im talking about the sheet we all filled out when we applyed for beta in the first place) if they have room for more players after that...then....

It should also go in order of $$$ spent legendary,elite,vet.

Besides 1/3 the people that get invited into closed betas have no clue what beta testing means....they just want the early access to the game to brag about.

well yes and no, it was posted that with the purchase of the founders pack we gain access to the closed beta starting Aug 7th. Remember that the game does not go live on Aug 7th.

As for my questions, they are refering to the early (pre Aug 7th) closed beta invites that the Devs said they would pull at least a portion from purchasers of the founders packs. If the Legendary members get priority well it kinda sucks because it becomes as you stated - Buying beta access!

Considering how many legendary users there are they might as well pull a few hundred from there for the next beta test but as others have said I wouldn't be surprised if all Founders got an equal chance.

The answer is YES and NO. Just because you helped out with Founders doesn't mean your entightled to beta. You'll get all your launch goodies at open beta August 7th.

They WILL be pulling SOME of the phase 2 founders later. Probably after July 10th.

Those who are going to be hand picked from the founders probably already have been selected.
