[Bishop Steiner]

Was going through some of my older works, and found this one, dating back nearly a decade ago. I must have been in an unusually good drawing mood that day, since most of my stuff from that time was....not so good.



2 LRM15, 2 SSRM4, 2 SSRM6 and 2 ER Large Laser.


Created at the behest of Khan Vladimir Ward after the Trial of Refusal on Strana Mechty. The Orion had always been a symbol to his Clan, but the reality was the Orion IIC was somewhat lackluster when compared to newer designs. So Vlad, never one to stick to convention, decided to improve his war machine and Clan's morale in one move, the Orion IIIC was the result.

Really beautiful mech! With quite a punch too! (I never heard about it, is it canon?)

Nope. My design. Never really loved the Orion IIC, so thought I would try to build a mech worthy of Kerensky.

Of course, with all the retconning of weaponry that had not been done when I conceived it, I might consider changing it to carry 2 snub nose ppc, since apparently Kerensky favored those. Have to redraw it, but meh, who knows.

I think my "remembered" stats were off, as it clearly has 2 mlasers in the CT.
