Capture the Star League MacGuffin and bring it back to base. Rescue the VIP from crashed VTOL. Convoy escort. Prevent enemy from reaching their dropship and taking off. Warehouse looting and raiding. Raze the city while other team tries to stop you.
There's lots of possibilities besides BOOOORING deathmatch.

Best game mode ever...
Optimization Patch.
All new game modes would turn into TDM, zergy brawl like we have now....who even worries about objectives?!

Think WoW.... now think Alterac Valley.
Both sides spawn on opposite ends with multiple resource points between them in various canyons and gullies. Each side accumulates resource points depending on what positions they hold. Points are amassed to 'Re-arm and Repair) damaged mechs. The price raises for each mech that needs to 'respawn'. One team wins when the enemy takes the oppositions base.
