So far I have used he C-AC/2 and C-AC/5. They fire two and three shells at a time, respectively.
What about the 10 and the 20? Thanks.

Far too many, in my opinion.
Clan ACs are garbage for the most part.

One can hope they apply this to IS autocannons, since you know..... right now they're glorified rifles that dont fit with lore. And I've seen one of those NGNG guys on twitch run with Clan ACs and UACs, Vercinix i think it was, he ran a Direwolf with like 4 ERML and 3 UAC10s and was dropping people like flies.
sidenote; I wish you could do the exact loadout of the Annihilator from MW3 on a direwolf... but I dont think you can.
4 LBX10s and 4 ML

In the books, it's anywhere from 4 shots (185mm Chemjet Gun) to 100 shots (30mm Pontiac 100) for an AC/20 to get 20 damage.
The Clan UAC/20s are supposed to shoot from 1 shot to 100 shots (Clan books aren't very good at providing variant names) to get said 20 damage on standard fire mode (they don't 'double tap' usually; instead they switch to ultra fire mode which fires at double the firing rate at the risk of jamming; which they are supposed to permanently jam until you get back to a mechbay).
And that "1" is actually highly debated.
Also anyone on the receiving end of those UACs tend to cry about how overpowered they are.

+1 on the lbx comment
Right now the way i see it is the ac's spread damage around for the most part. This does follow the lore but in my mind if you're going to be spreading fire anyway then why not go for the lbx's. I'm not sure on 300m for the spread on the lbx20's but for up close and personal (say 60m and in) you get a slug for sure. Also you get a slight fire rate increase and extra crit potential for armor stripped components. Plus the spread helps those of us that are aiming challenged to hit those pesky light mechs.

Spoiler
Gun nuts talking about AR-15s and the merits of various ammunition while Koniving is testing his robot cannons...
Also worth noting that the time between each shot in the burst seems longer for the bigger guns.
