We Need More C Bills.

Those of us who dont have the hours to grind for bills just buy our mechs, simply because we can make more money working in an hour than the equivalent in cbills.
But lets be honest, need engines, and those are ******* expensive, cant buy those with MC and I need about 100 million worth of engines to outfit my husk cicadas and jenners and blackjacks.
And the exchange to buy c bills with MC is outrageous. They make you buy 30 dollars worth when you dont need that much. 20 bucks for 6.5 million cbills? no thanks.
Id just buy prem time but that is bullshit the mechanic of it, constantly ticking down, it should only count down when you are IN A MATCH, then id buy it, but i dont play for a week at a time because i work and my prem time is gone.
I make more or less 1 million cbills per hour. and I have never more than 2 million in the bank. I am the 99 percent.

We're "earning to much" say Paul and Russ
a year or two ago there was some bull about how "premium content" was too easily accessible for cbills
This "premium content" they were referring to was assault mechs
Why would you spend money on things easily earned for free?

That statement was about a year ago.
I'm just happy for champion mechs and not just the old 4 mechs to choose from. Sure they may not be optimal, but at least they do offer a change of pace. I just wished there was an easier way to save mech configurations in a way that I can swap around engines at least much easier.

Is this going to change? No
Why won't it change? F2P

Which is counter productive, stupid and pointless as hell.....I absolutely loathe when companies and w/e do **** like that...
Oooh, a nice 50% increase to your income.....but 75% increase to cost of everything.....

Assuming 9 mechs? I'm going to guess an average of 3.5 million / mech for the engines. And that's assuming he doesn't want to tweak the engines every few games.
9 * 3,500,000 = 31,500,000.
Not 100,000,000; still nothing to sneeze at. If you include the other 'mandatory' costs (mechs are about 3 million each, dual heatsinks are 1.5 million) you get pretty close to 100,000,000. Modules could easily push you over it.
And before anyone cleverly points this out, yes, you can just wait for your mech to become accessible and move your engine around. I assume OP doesn't want to wait to redeploy with different mechs.

But and I know people don't like but. But as thus will take time to put into the game if at all the c bills need an increase for everyone so that people can modify and change any mechs in mechlab to their hearts content.

It is pretty simple, their game , their rules. I disagree with most of the decisions PGI has made. But they are making money and that is why they are in business. So for them it is a winner, for me (?), not so much.
I wish they (PGI) would give a little more back to the community that enjoys the game but how much they currently do (or do not) is all a matter of opinion. I am of the opinion that it is of the Scrooge type verity (the give back) and that on its death bed (be that 50 years form now or next week) I am expecting they (PGI) will receive a visit from good old Marley (adorned in his chains formed over many years of pinching the coins so ruthlessly acquired).
It is a free market, use your freedom, explore the universe Citizen, be an Elite member of some other dangerous society. Choose your own path or be an Exile, The Choice is yours.

I see what you did there, however I already know where to go when F2P games get annoying to the point that I need to blow off some steam elsewhere.

Nice. As a side note though, I don't think Elite Dangerous is a F2P model. I think it will be a full release with expansions. I don't know about Star Citizen though, I haven't looked into that game too much.

... BUUUT - after you make couple of thousand(yep.) games and you get the hang of what works and what not(and to be honest here - the things that are really effective are just a handful) that's that.
You don't have content to spent your CBills on and you start to pile them.
And if you make ~20 matches per night, with about 50% win/lose ratio that's averagely probably about 2.5mils per day, which means in 20 days you'll have(spent - most likely) 50 mil CBills and for the things that really work in the current game state that's about enough.
If not - another 20 days and you'll be at the endgame.
If you can make half the games daily - on top - let's make it 4 months playtime.
4 months to reach everything this game have to offer(and those CBills would be actually about enough for you to get all the "new" content PGI release that actually interest you) don't seem that much tbh...
Not for the people like me that play the game after the end of closed beta(or before that).
CBills aint neither hard nor easy to gain but in the same time they could be both

Depends on the point of view - but either way I think that part of the game really needs some balancing and I don't mean any more CBills sinks at all - neither adjusting the gain ratio toward better profits...

Yeah I have been harping about this forever. I have like 8 or 9 IS mechs without engines due to the fact it would cost me like 40 million to outfit them. (All use 300XL or greater). I end up swaping a couple engines in and out but often I find myself not playing those mechs because it is to much hassle to keep dismantling and rebuilding them every time I want to play another mech. Same with modules. I own exact 3 which cost me 18 million and those three get swapped between any one of my 41 mechs. I also have about 10-15 mechs I would love to own (which would need bays at 300 MC a pop) but don't buy because I am saving for Clan mechs.
So if you want to talk costs, lets just look at module cost to start with. Most mechs now have 2 mech modules, 1 weapon and 2 consumables. Leaving out the consumables I would still need to come up with 2 mech modules at 6 million each plus 1 weapons module at 3 million so 15 million per mech for modules.
15 million x 41 mechs = 615 million C-bills. Just to buy modules for all my mechs. This doesn't include new mechs, weapons and equipment, Upgrades to DHS or Artemis or such. Figure probably a cool BILLION for everything.
With premium and using hero mechs, I can roughly earn 2 million each evening and maybe 10 million on a weekend based on my available play time so 20 million a week, IF I DO NOTHING BUT PLAY DURING ALL MY FREE TIME.
Definitely seems to be plenty of C-bills sinks in the game and it would be a long, long time at the current C-bill earning rate for me to actually ever run out of things to buy.
