or boating anti lrm modules ditching the old ones
hadn't we JUST gone through this? it begins to feel like a broken record - it seems clan lrms are a bit too good and betty is off when calling missile alert and the ams needs some buffs
players are abusing the glitching betty now, that's what we're seeing in game.
it is forcing me to ditch the modules i used just to buff my ams and jam their radar,
this is insane - get the gameplay to where LRM is just useful enough, if you're going to give me choice of modules don't make the obvious choices take my whole 3 slots

The only reason you see ANY LRMs are the Timber Wolf is packing them as a default, and some 4 mans are using NARC more.
Know what else I'm not seeing though? More than 3 people on a team with AMS in any given match.

With even minimal torso twisting, you can survive multiple volleys. Oh, sure, you'll be beaten up a little, but you'll still be alive. I'm grinding a Stalker 3H right now (the only one I didn't own), trying out those big 20-tubes on the arms. Even firing off an LRM50 in one salvo, I don't end the game with multiple kills (and yes, I know all the tricks of shooting LRMs to the most effect). I'll get tons of destroyed components, lots of assists, but few kills.
Back during the aforementioned LURMPOCALYPSE, I was getting 7+ kills a game in my boat. This isn't that.
LRMs have quite a few hard counters (ECM, AMS, Deprivation module), including good, old-fashioned cover. Just be aware, torso twist, and don't get caught out in open on your own.
To the NARC statements above, yeah - that's a problem. There needs to be a ))) icon on your screen to let you know, but if you're under ECM, or out of line-of-sight, and you're still getting nailed with volley after volley? Find taller cover because you've been NARC'd.

When I play my Raven-3L and try to NARC enemies, then usually only one or two mechs of my team have LRMs... that's frustrating!!!
If you complain about LRMs, then ask your friends to also bring AMS... and pls don't complain if you're driving a ******* slow heavy or assault mech, they are prey for LRMs!!!

Except for the occasional Kitfox who is crazy enough to bring 3... typically not enough ammo though.

Also, Clan LRM launchers are so light, you are almost stupid not to throw at least one on. Which, of course, means that everyone has missiles firing everywhere. This has caused me to make sure I have AMS on any clan mech that can carry it.

and to top things off the new 10% ams rate module is garbage straight out the gate because AMS is depleted halfway through a match killing missiles that were gonna hit a wall anyway, if you're gonna release that module make it so ams ammo is twice as plentiful, maybe 2000 rounds per ton

what i mean is they fly a bit faster, and ams is a little less useful vs the stream in the end, even if what you say balances it out a bit

Lets all just pretend that this is actually war, and we cannot ask for our enemies to reduce the effectiveness of their weaponry.
Learn to deal with the LRMs. They're in the game until the end, best get used to them - and stop all the bellyaching!

Of 5 IS-Mechs i used recently 4 have 20 to 25 LRM Tubes bcs that enable me to avoid the superior direct Firepower of Clan-Mechs while i still can soften them up and distribute Firepower to Teammates in need up to 1000m away.
I took of AMS bcs to often it is dead weight and 50% of its ammo allways wasted on through-cover-shots while no viable number of AMS and Ammo can master the onslaught of LRM 100 to 300 Volleys enemy Teams may unleash - i simply stay in cover until i know the amount of LRM-Rain and if i can handle it while peeking out occasionally.
