Recently I've noticed a LOT of issues with mech collisions. I usually play brawlers and it's often useful sometimes to "shove into" an enemy mech in order to sort of bounce off of them. But lately when I shove in on someone, I wind up passing RIGHT THROUGH THEM. This seems especially prevalent when I'm pushing into someone that's at a slightly different (or very different) elevation compared to me. The result is being very disoriented and trying to figure out WTF happened and what to do next. ("Where did the enemy go, I was pushing into him?!")

This has been an incredibly frustrating issue along with the problems in hit registration, and more nights than not lately I just wind-up throwing my hands in the air and saying "this game is unplayable" and going off to play WoW or Battlefield4 instead. C'mon guys.

I HATE THIS!!! as a close range weapon fighter and a light pilot I can't stand this...

you bounce off and you end up like warping around the other guy and end up looking in like a random direction. Very annoying.

For me it's happening with Heavy and Assault chassis. I like to brawl with big mechs, and even they, at their slow speeds, are teleporting through enemies. =/

I've noticed this as well, usually when some Light rams into me at full speed and seems to just warp through my 100 ton metal arse. I personally try not to ram other Mechs unless I'm without weapons and am going for that ever elusive but possible ram kill.

I'd suggest you take this opportunity to break your bad habits in preparation for the eventual inclusion of actual collisions back into the game....or not. I personally have no issues with Lights who think ramming into my Assault Mech is a good idea, free kills are always so tasty.

it isn't just certain weight classes vs others, it is any mech on mech contact. I know i've died plenty of times because the warping has put me at a disadvantage where as we could have just kept pounding on each other at point blank range. Sometimes ramming is unavoidable in combat. Gets some folks in panic mode and I see a lot of FF while doing it which helps me.
