As soon as I start my mech's torso turns and starts "looking" left. I have to fight this with the mouse but something is causing it to just keep turning left. It makes the game nearly unplayable as I can't fight it very well and center my mech out. I'm a new player, but this seems like a bug. Anyone have any tips to fix this??

I've tried restarting the computer, the client etc. Unplugging the mouse still makes the mech turn left. If I open the chat box it will stop turning the torso left but when it is closed it resumes.

Thank you!

Do you have a joystick or gamepad plugged in that you're not trying to use? Unplug it.

If it's a stuck key input you can try fluttering the offending key (A for left turn)

Joystick. Do you have one? Disconnect it for now.

I have a joystick but it is not plugged in. I considered that :\

And its not the legs, its the upper body that keeps turning left.

Weird. No issues in any other mouse games? Do you use a laptop with a touchpad or keyboard nubbin? Do you have another mouse handy you can swap to and see if the issue persists?

No other issues in any other mouse games. I'm on a desktop computer and like I said it even occurs with NO mouse plugged in. Very strange indeed. Wish I could play this game :C

Very strange! Send an email ticket to support@mwomercs.com and maybe try running the repair tool

your pull because you keep moving the mouse when you start push the mouse off to the right and start walking with the "W-A-S-D" keys keep hitting the c- key to keep everything square now start adding the mousse in-put but keep hitting that C-key to stay on track in no time you will get it all figure out.---I kept looking for a torso lock key but there isn't one, for a beginner it’s enough to just maneuver the Mech also look out for jerking the mouse when you fire your weapons, Good Luck Mech Warrior

Is there a keybind for the keyboard that torso twists? I don't recall. Maybe that is a stuck key on the keyboard? That would explain the movement even if the mouse is unplugged.

Pick up your keyboard, turn it upside down, and shake all the junk out. lol

I've had this bug also. You're turning the body left with A - and after releasing the key continue to turn left regardless of what you do. I've found that releasing the keys and press A again resets it and restores normal movement functionality. This bug happens on all of my keyboards with switches or mode toggles, but not on plain-Jane keyboards.

What John said.

Its an old bug related to your keyboard. Hit the turn into the same direction again to 'clear' the input. Trying to turn the other way won't clear it.
