Arctic Cheetah is the one we need. Fire Moth and Piranha are 20 tons, which means they will be bad no matter what happens. The Mist Lynx is 25 tons, which is also a fairly bad weight to be at and it can't even outrun an Inner Sphere slow Raven.

Top speed: 142.6 kph (after speed tweak)
Pod space: 8 tons (after you max out the armor)
Hardwired equipment: Endo, FF, 6 JJs

The Prime also gets ECM right out of the box, and 4 energy + 2 missile hardpoints. The proper terminology for the Arctic Cheetah versus any other Clan fast light known to mankind is "GGCLOSE."

I have broken the 1000 damage threshold with an ecm kit fox. I have never managed that with an IS light, so I don't think they need any kind of boost.

That Horned Owl is another Robotech mech belonging to the Robotech Masters segment of series though obscure since we haven't seen it in any MWO game unlike the rest of the unseen.

You also have the Mist Lynx and Firemoth eventually making their way in. The only issue with those two is that they are 25 and 20 tons respectively which means light on armor and light on firepower but the Mist Lynx will break 128 kph and the Firemoth 170 kph (236 kph if they get MASC working) with speed tweak.

PGI has tried to balance clan tech to IS and that´s the first BIG mistake. Clan mech should be balanced by tonnage/number of players in puretech games IS vs Clans (ie: 10 vs 12 or 20% ton advantaje for IS) instead all of this crap. Balance of tech is ridiculous, clan mech MUST be OP because clan tech is SUPERIOR in BT universe. All of this tiring discussions and wasted time would be finished letting things as they should be and not creating artificial balance ingame.

With the artificial balance that PGI has created now people realise that clans should need a light but if they had one IS lights would be dead. In light tonnage each half ton counts A LOT MORE than in heavier classes and no IS light build could face them.

Once again the big mistake of balancing tech instead of doing it by tons or numbers turns us in useless discussion.

How about they fix hit reg on lights first before this happens, nothing like a bunch of crappy pilots running around with lag shield.
