The Elementals will mix among the other stars but the majority will try to ride with Striker Star as the others hammer the Spheroids.

I run hells horse and we came to the IS rather late in the game so i cannot really say for a 3050 ish trinary but i normally run a star thats something like this for 3050-3085

.point of demon tick protomechs
.point of enyo strike tanks
.point of garuda VTOL or xerxes ASF

I can mix it up with additional stars since i usually tote along a bunch of optional units-
marauder IIc, mascari/warhawk, blood kite, piranha, fire falcon, stalking spider, super nova, galahad, bowman, huey* artillery tanks, ROC protos, minotaur protos, gnome BA, crmson langur, cauldron born.

for 3050 i would probably just end up with-dragonfly B, a warhawk C, warhammer IIc, marauder IIc, and a ryoken prime

I only bid a Single star of mechs, I use a mixed star with damage in all ranges and electronical equip for do recon and deffence by its own.

As recon I take the Kitfox C
In his back as Core I take A Summoner C and a Gargoyle D
In the back as long range support I take the Hellbringer A and Nova A

I tried to take as much energy weapons as I could, to avoid Ammo shortage while act as Spearhead and Ambush unit.

So far to my Thoughts, maybe the TTler and wiseguys correct me.
For myself, I wont take any position as favorite, I have the whole unit in mind and would take every position.
I also tried to take only Invasion equipment from 3050 as far as my poor knowledge went.
