What setting for the mist like smoke. How to turn it off?

Smoke is a transparency (alpha / anti alias) effect, as far as I know.

I would guess it falls under anti alias, effects or something like that.

Smoke is Particles, and probably shouldn't ever be higher then Medium.

I have a 7950 on my test rig and it runs great. Maxes mwo at 1440p. unsure of why youre having issues.
