Where does everyone get the idea Aussies spend most of their time or public holidays getting drunk?

.... Did any one else suddenly get a flashback to that one Hetalia episode where the Allies are wondering why it feels like there was an extra person in the room but couldn't figure out, and it was Canada, and the little bear Canada was holding looks up at him and said "Who are you?"

Which reminds me, we still need a Hetalia version on BT.
