This is the 3rd time I've been tricked into downloading that crap. It always mis-analyzes what card I have and downloads drivers for a much much older one. Then I have to redo everything and uninstall the damn thing again

Any Idea when AMD Gaming Evolved will get it? Currently shows up to date with 14.12

Tried that... never works... Can't find drivers manually anywhere. Right-clicking on the device in device manager and clicking 'check for updates' always says drivers are up to date, though

And this version auto-installed the crappy drivers.

Guys... just tried to uninstall my working windows 8.1 driver I used in Windows 10 and downloaded the driver from the link above. My Windows 10 TP build now locks up and will not shut down right. I can't get it to do anything, it freezes up before I can uninstall the new driver. Wtf....lol

I have never been a fan of AMD driver page, or drivers.

Uninstalled my old Win7x64 Beta Driver 15.6 and installed the 15.7 WHQL without any trouble.

Framerate Control works with MWO.
Have set it to 70 FPS for a little headroom and my Screen runs at 60Hz and it chugs along nicely.
The New River City is a bit troublesome and jittery as usual but in a reliable way atm that does not mess up to much gameplay.

PS: 15 years Radeon and 1 game that did not run at release and 2 Drivers that did not install.
Usually if Drivers do not Install its a Windows Bug - Win10 itself is still BETA btw.

PS: Auto Upating Drivers from Windows10 may bork them Drivers as well (bcs it works at times as Driver Auto-Degrade)!

A little trick that helped some poeple with some older Drivers:

bloodthunder:
So, today I just found a very easy way to resolve this AMD issue.

After failing to install, AMD will leave all of its setup files in C:\AMD.

Simply go to C:\AMD\Config\ and open InstallManager.cfg with notepad.

Near the end of the file, there will be "WorkaroundInstall=false"

This needs to be changed to true.

Run setup.exe again and install like normal!

Guys after uninstalling the windows 8.1 15.6 driver and reinstalling the 15.7 Windows 10 driver it borked my install. I had to do a system restore to the last good restore point. Once I got back in, I looked at the driver that I have installed for my 7970 and sure enough, it already has the 15.7 driver on it and must of installed itself while my rig wasnt' booted into windows 10. I haven't turned on my 10 install in several weeks. Rather odd that it would down load the new driver all by itself and install it when I first booted into 10? It is working now.... However I have no start menu function anymore... its there, but does nothing when I click it.

ok, I found this site and this is how I got the start menu to work again and search option.... OMG..
