I'm getting ~45fps with everything at maximum settings on a single 7970.
I hope this is some help.

the mark. The newer more powerful systems with the latest cards should do it. Nvidia just loaded in a driver that matches the specs of a 4k. 65" inch screen a must. 120k is fine no need to go 240k, costs more and not worth it. I would suggest an LG price per performance great purchase. Oh, 3D have passive glasses if they ever turn it on game. Wait a while prices will come down even further when mass produced. Only stocked in best buy right now. It blank awesome. Good luck.

I would recommend you get a quality 2560x1440 monitor like the Dell UH2713HM or similar. You could also get a cheap Korean one for $300ish (like the Catleap or Acheiva) In order for 4k to be affordable performance wise, you need to wait for the Maxwell GPUs to come out early next year. Word is we should expect to see GTX 780/Titan level performance with GTX 660 (mid grade) level cards. So what would cost you $1000 in performance today, will cost you roughly $500-600 this time next year, and consume 1/2 the watts.

At that resolution, I aim for 30fps, I normally use it for screenshots, which means I also have MSAA 4x on (gives me 18-22fps with 3200-3400mb Vram usage), or some times 8x which gives me 8-14fps and can get up to 4024mb Vram usage) when I want to chalange myself.
However with MSAA off, I can pull a pretty solid 30fps at that resolution. ~ 2500mb Vram useage, all on Very High.

PostAA + low framerate = noticeable blur

That one Atlas Picture was demonstrating how bad it is, and you will see it REGARDLESS of framerate, be it 80 or 20 I believe you are missing the point.
Do you see it in the image above? No

You have not even posted anything remotely constructive for the OP, if you have something to say to me, take it to PMs.
