Please consider to restrict premade 1-4 man groups to 1/1/1/1 and 5-8-man groups to 2/2/2/2 when dropping. Otherwise it would likely cause problems...
If this is not implemented, I would expect that when solo players or small groups drop in the best meta mechs, these slots will already have been occupied by any competent 4-man or 5-8-man group, thus you will be biased to end up with a bad group if you drop in good mech(s).
And even if it's not that simple, it does introduce a bias, and it allows groups to control classes and play the odds of the MM which must be exploitable, for example to sync-drop etc.

I vote we try out the new MM and reserve judgment for at least a week, and see how it goes.

MM works beautiful real short search times and good matches so far.

I'm loving it so far. Mainly because the restrictions mean you can only have so many meta mechs on a team.

After playing last night its obvious that this is not needed (yet!!).... there is no such thing as 3/3/3/3, I thought that restraint would be stricter... actually it was more heavies and assaults than I can remember, so the 3/3/3/3 restrictions seemed to be relaxed almost immediately since waiting times were short. Matches weren't too bad either... still losing more than winning, but at least more random matchups than the previous days after clans, including some close games and not all stomp stomp.
Anyhow, point still stands if 3/3/3/3 is ever to be enforced, then we also need 1/1/1/1 and 2/2/2/2 for the various sizes of groups. As long as 3/3/3/3 is soft we dont need and cant have 1/1/1/1 etc, thats cool...
