Active Probe + Target Info Gathering + Mark II Targeting computer = near instantaneous knowledge of where to shoot!
Just trying to decide if it was worth losing a ton of armor and a ton of gauss ammo for.

I'm debating running a Command Console and BAP together for a similar bump, but the CC is still waaaaaay underpowered.

Will have to try.
Shouldnt a CC dedicated unit kinda be awesome like a special forces type deal? Wasnt that the point?

It seems the Clan Active Probe trumps the Mk I Targeting Computer with a much larger sensor range bonus? I wonder how the two play out...

The CC is sort of in the middle ground. It's not as good as the upper tier targeting computers, but it's better than the lower tier ones. Also, considering it's slot and weight cost, It's pretty good. It's not comparable to a targeting computer mark 5,6, or 7, but it gets the job done. Also, it plus BAP, is almost instant target info gathering.

Better sensor range, but no other bonuses, like improved crit, zoom, beam range, and projectile velocity.
