This week, inspired by this thread, I talked about what can be done in a certain death situation. As I think the formatting is better on my blog and it is probably too long for a forum post, I'll just post a snippet and a link.

What do we say to the god of death? "Not today."

"It is a familiar scene; you're doing the dance of death with a victim at close range in your brawler, and he's about to go down. Yet, more and more enemies keep joining the fight and now you're also being showered by missiles. Meanwhile, your teammates beside you are either dying or fleeing. There's no help and your armor starts to crack open everywhere. Your weapons are being stripped, your limbs are being torn off, your 'Mech is giving up. The death is certain, what do you do? How can you make the most of your sacrifice?"

You can read the rest it on my blog here.

If the dang Dev team would put in the chance of your mech exploding its core like MWLL all us old 12thVR guys could make the most of our deaths for sure! Just ask anyone who played us on MWLL. We had the highest percentage of mechs going critical and exploding, so we'd march right into the middle of the enemy and nuke the crap out of them! Often to the benefit of a few of them going crit in chain reaction from hell!

No Stackpoleing. Seriously, I don't think that should be added. We would see wave after wave of suicide lights.
