Hello,
the new falling damage is set far to high, My spider can loose both its legs stepping of a stair its really silly.
I am not talking about jumping around with JJ I mean just stepping of a very short drop less than the height of the mech.

There appear to be bugs regarding small drops (including sliding off hills), hitting obstacles (pebbles, other mechs), and strikes -- all of which trigger leg damage in not quite predictable ways. The edge cases definitely require a careful look.
The mechanic works well for simple drops and jumps, on the other hand. You feather falls or you break your legs, as it should be. You can not reliably feather all drops in heavier mechs (a 4 JJ Catapult can not make it safely off all cliffs on Alpine, for example)

please stop with the adapt and overcome crap...that isn't the problem. Lights can overcome and adapt because the damage is so high and so random that even basic moving around a map is more dangerous than the enemy and we already don't have enough people playing lights as it is.
lights can't even do basic scouting anymore because soon as you go up anything to look around, you'll take massive damage going back down no matter how slow you go.
it needs to be greatly tweaked for lights or removed back to what it was for them. this hurts us WAY more than any other weight class.

Lights with jj are not any fun to play at the moment. What's the point of having fast, high jumping, mechs if you can't build legs to handle the accompanying stress-load?
I stopped playing Locusts because I hated how they ran off their leg armor before engaging the enemy. Now, all my lights are Locusts.
