I would have to agree with you. I played several matches right after the patch. Wait times for all of them were less than 30 seconds, hope that's the norm rather than an exception.
I also found that only one of the matches was a stomping. Which I define as 12-3, 12-2, 12-1, 12-0.
This is significantly better than before the patch (at least from my experience)

only thing to figure out now is how to get more people into lights and mediums because if they can solve that, I think they've got a good thing going finally.
