I had a round where I killed 3 mechs and got the credit for it in game but when the score card came up I was only awarded 2 kills.

This has been happening a long time now. I have had matches all the time where I count the kill messages in game and then find I am missing one or two kills on the score card at the end of the match. Frustrating, but what are you going to do about it?
