Consumable. You drop a decoy (a tiny, stationary box) that emits a signal as if it were a member of your team. Duration 30 seconds.

* It cannot be targeted by own team and Q reveals the descriptor "decoy".
* The enemy sees the red triangle, he can target the decoy, but the Mech-info will simply never show up.

Drop several of those and the enemy gets radar-signals from a whole lance. It could be used for staging a mock-attack or to repel attackers who don't bother to use their eyes in the heat of battle.

I had a similar idea that I sent to PGI a long time ago, but instead of a consumable item, it was an item that you could equip into a Mech and drop. It had no weight as far as the Mech was concerned, and like a smoke bomb was intended to be used for defense. My idea was to use the number keys 1-6 for offensive weapons, and 7-0 for defensive. Smoke, Flare, Decoy, and Mines.
