For a disclaimer, I am not real familiar with the table top game, and loadout of mechs are foreign to me until I buy them and play around with them in the mech lab.
This update for the innerspehere command computer seems really interesting to me, however, I cannot find it in the mech lab. I read that it should be available to every heavy and assault mech, but when I search the load out tabs for each of the components of the mech, modules, upgrades, and even skills areas I see no reference to it.
I have searched using my Jeagermechs and my founders Atlas. So I am lost, and I would appreciate ANY guidance! Thanks!

In order to find the Command Console to purchase, you first need to select the Head slot on a heavy or assault mech, and then the Equipment tab.
Note: Atlas AS7D-D-DC has one by default in the head slot.

Do you have an Atlas D-DC? There might be one there... and PGI will need to make it available to other mechs.
If you're wondering though, in tabletop and lore, the Command Console isn't actually a 3 ton computer but 3 tons in the form of a copilot's seat, commander center, additional rations, drinks, etc., communications system, and I can't recall if it has a link-up to nearby C3 computer systems or not. Basically it's a second cockpit, and as such was very limited in what mechs could use it.
PGI's turned it into a targeting computer enhancement.
Some lore friendly mounts include any DC variant (which Atlas D-DC stands for Atlas D - Dual Cockpit version), and some Cataphracts (since some mount a Rumble seat which is a passenger's seat, it could be converted into a command console station).

Yeah, unless you're really willing to buy an Atlas DDC, then I'd wait for the CC to be purchaseable. I apologize for leading you astray. I truly thought you could buy the item.

I just went to the mechlab and had no problem buying a command console for one of my thunderbolts.
Just click on the head-compartment and it should show up under equipment along with the beagle and heatsinks.
I do own an AS7-D-DC but the command console from that one is currently built into another 'mech. Maybe you need to have a DDC to be able to buy one...weird mechanic.

I'm fairly certain you have to put it in the head of your mech. Do you gave the head selected when you're looking in the equipment tab? I bought one for an orion and a thunderbolt no problem today.

I would like to think PGI made it available for more. For instance another guy said he was able to put one in.
I remember in the public test they said "You currently cannot buy a Command Console in this test build as we didn't have time to put it into the shop. With the funds we've provided, please purchase an Atlas D-DC and get your command console from there."
But you'd think after that test, a couple of tweaks, and throw it on live...we'd be able to just get one randomly.

I'm gonna try to find one right now.
Note: It's only available for IS mechs.

Just tried it.
Quickdraw 4G. Configure.
Loadout.
Head.
Equipment.
Right there.

Checked 3 other IS mechs.
Listed for all of them.

I am the dumbest pilot around!
So I have had access to the command console the entire time, but because it looks like C.A.S.E. and began with C my brain just did a complete read over. My apologizes, you all were right and this sorry, sorry pilot is getting grounded for a while......
