Sorry for my English.

I had set C-Ultra AC/20 into the right arm of DRW-B. When I was saving the
changes I got error message "This mech has a critical slot violation. All
equipment in the following location will be stripped:
RIGHT ARM.
These changes will not be saved until you check out".
After that my C-Ultra AC/20 and two ammo for C-Ultra AC/20 was removed from arm and my inventory.

When I select mech in mechlab and select menu "view mech details" I can see C-Ultra AC/20 in right arm, but in the loadout menu C-Ultra AC/20 is missed.

I just had roughly the same error. When modifying a VIctor, I saved, received a "save error" message and when I looked all of the ammo for my AC 5 and AMS was removed from the head and legs. Ok, not a huge deal, I bought more ammo but when I put it in, I received the dreaded red triangle and messages stating that it now has critical slot violations in the legs and head where I just put the ammo.

I have never had this bug/error before the patch I installed today

After the game force-strips your 'mech, save the loadout.
Click on configure again and your stuff will be back in your inventory.
