Dear PGI, i do not know who is in charge of balancing or adressing the recurrent problems in your game but seriouly its time to either give him help, put him on medication because hes obviously not thinking with any logic or simply fire then hire someone else.

The new fall damage supposed to address the poptarters reign didnt stop them form poping, however when i run my locust on tourmaline desert or Alpine map every bumps that would normally be harmless are chipping my legs constantly. I dont even have Jumpjets on this mech why is it affecting me? Poptarts mechs are the problem then adress them directly, dont use the system that will affect everything that is fine.

This is like the Infamous Ghost heat mechanic. This was too prevent the 4 and 6 PPC's Stalkers and boaters in general. Well when you have chassis that can only load energy weapons how can you not boat unlesss you end up being with a Frankenmech, this was manageable until you decided to link the weapons all togheter, Large, ER and Large Pulser lasers all linked so firing 1 LPL with 2LL counts as 3 LPL, really? If the PPC was the problem then nerf the PPC, oh wait you did! Now its very hot, not to mention the ERPPC. Why is the ghost heat and weapon links are still there then?

MWO doesnt have cancer, it doesnt need any chemotherapy; it works by putting poison in someones body that will hopefully affect the targeted cancerous cells, dont mind the collateral damage... So please start TARGETING the problems instead of general solutions.

Seeing how idiotics the changes are in this game i wonder what will be the next "fix".

I know this totally turned into a rant session, but seriously of all the games out there Mech Warrior had to get the clueless dev team ( art guys however are sensationnal keep them up). This venerable license that been arounds for decades deserve the right game, its not too late to fix things up because the foundation is strong and holding but wake up!

Actually I think the fall damage was implemented because Brawlers closing with poptarters are too strong.

This is the logical reason why the Victor's torso twist speed was nerfed as well, now the reign of the Victor brawl builds has been toned down along with fast moving overpowered light mechs and the underdog poptart playstyle can have a little breathing room.

Hmm... the infamous ghost heat mechanic...

What if, with the PPC/Gauss/AC5 issue(s), they would be placed into the same Heat Scale penalty group?

SInce the system already uses the weapon with the higher base heat to scale the penalty that might do the trick:

And Fall Damage is fine. If anything there could be tweaks to how when the scalar multiplier kick in and extend how long a mech would be airborne before fall damage applies.

But I think the problem might be more in certain areas on maps need to be adjusted.
