Ok in the description of the clan targeting computer it "Increases auto cannon (non lbx) and erppc projectile speeds"

Many people in the group I have played with swear it increases the projectile speed of gauss rifles. I have tested this a lot in the testing grounds and even timed ranged shots. I see a marked improvement in ac rounds and ppcs but have seen no improvement in gauss. I have even timed long range shots with a stop watch and to me the gauss is unaffected. My group however will not believe me until there is official word on this.

Since there is obviously confusion going on could we get official word here to clear this up.

With all the confusion (at least in the group I play) I really think that this needs clarification. If I could get any kind of official word on this it would be great.

You might have more luck asking support directly.
Also: It's still weekend, if there is any reaction it'll probably not come before official business-hours.

You would think that this would be an easy thing for them to answer.

Your friends' incredulity you expect will provoke a response from PGI? How long have you been playing this game or reading the forums? lol

This is an issue obviously causing confusion among players and I think it deserves an answer. My group have collectively sank thousands of dollars into this game on clan mechs alone and I think that warrants a little attention.

Stop bumping your thread with a demand for an official answer. You either get one or you don't! Bumping in this way will certainly lower your chances as it is rude. Would you poke and pressure someone you know personally this way?

If you tested it, like you wrote in your OP, and didn't notice any difference, then chances are that the description is actually right and your friends wrong.

I haven't bumped the thread at all, I have responded to others but not bumped the thread. Other's have bumped it. If you don't like my thread, don't read it. And no, I would not pressure someone I knew personally, but then again I don't pay them for their time either.

If I am not mistaken, asking PGI for a response is against the forum rules. Take this issue to a support ticket. You will probably have a better chance at a response by using the proper tools they have supplied you with. And no, so far, the only players confused by this seems to be your unit, I know I understand that the gauss is not affected by TCs.

Thousands of dollars collectively? I've personally put over $3,000 into the game across 2 accounts since Beta was released to the public. And all I ask for is HSR/hit-reg to be fixed.

BTW - TCs do not affect Gauss Rifles. You can find multiple announcements and posts about it by PGI if you just do a little digging.
