Found this pic of a table top Madcat with a unique paint job on another forum.. If this was the only way that the Madcat came in this game, meaning you had to pilot it with the paint job it has would you?

AAFChris, the trick is making your whole lance wear pink so his weapons systems get confused and overloaded. ~_^

The paint job wouldn't be factored into my decision. If it sported a good loadout or did something other Mechs couldn't match or beat, I would use it. If it didn't, then I wouldn't.

Aesthetic appearance is such a shallow thing to consider in a war... well, outside of camouflage -- but that's another topic, isn't it?

I have an unpainted Akuma in a box around here somewhere that's just begging for a "Hello Kitty" paint job. Just look at that face!

Well look at it this way. You're IN the mech, so you don't see it! (Until you die of course)

So you don't get distracted by it and any mech that spots you goes like ***?! giving you that extra second you need to get in cover or blast his *** first. Also when you die you look at it and don't go; damnit I got destroyed! you go; thank god that thing is gone! It's pure P2W camo!

After a bit of an LRM-sanding from a Catapult, all the paint will be gone anyway. Unless it's pink all the way through.
