The DWolf has 55.5 tons of pod space.
It's a beast even if you're dumb as a post.

I think you mean 50.5 tons...unless you stripped a lot of armor. :)

Oh, I wouldn't know... I've seen some pretty spectacular performances when spectating that'd give the lie to that sentiment.

What video editing software do you use?

Just Windows Movie Maker. I think it is free with Windows OS and can be downloaded as Windows Essentials. Sometimes I throw a video into AVS Video Editor just to make the file more YouTube friendly, but that is not a must.

Was just in a match where their team decided to all go into the basement during assault on HPG.

They had 3 Dire Wolves. So we just said F it and capped them.

I stayed back and keep them at bay once they figured out what was going on.

It illustrates the problem well, even when you play to their strengths, they are a very avoidable mech.

If you drop with a crap team, when half the team wants to hide half the game and 1 or two other ecm light scouts are just running off to an early death "sniping"... You Had Better Play Your Dire Wolf Really SMART, because you will die quickly.
I have found a really good set of teamates is what really allows me to do VERY well in my DWF. Without that it's usually a wacked game with me putting up 500 plus damage with no kills and we lose. With a good set of teamates it's 5 or more kills and 1000+/- damage multiple assists.
Team matters.

Even so I do well in them so Roland's post still stands correct.

Low ELO Assault says hello.

Cheers.

Yep. It is a terror....SUPPORTED!!!

Left to its own devices it is easy to avoid or kill rendering it mostly useless.

I wouldn't say that's playing it smart at all, just getting very lucky, not being shot at much in general, being left alone, getting shot all over your mech distributing damage, and going up against a very poor enemy team.

It shows nothing positive of the mech your playing or your skill. If you were bumped up an elo bracket you would be demolished in seconds doing about 30-50 damage if your lucky playing like that. You were slow to aim, missing a lot of your shots, shooting at pillars, bad left right side much management, prone to being killed from behind etc.

Almost any mech can get that damage and kills being left alive so long with such a shooting gallery of enemy mechs.

Seeing that your whole post is a giant insult to me directly, when do you want to dance? Where is your video?

You mean when you give it everything you have, take out a few enemies, go down fighting while holding a flank and then go to spectator mode hoping to see your team pull out a win...

and the first guy you spectate from is in heat vision mode, permanently, and probably has been since the start of the match...

and you are on caustic valley...

Do you mean like that?

When I did it in my Shadow Hawk, I guess that makes Shads OP. :)

Especially Shads using 2 ERLL + 1 ML + 3 SSRM2. Those ones are especially broken.
