NOTE: This is my first guide so whatever improvement I need, please kindly tell me :(

Anway.. I was just messing around last night with a lot of loadout for my JM-6S and I found a perfect build for ME, so I guess why not share with the community, maybe some will find it perfect for them too so if this does not suits you, please no need to judge me whatsoever.

Overview of this loadout, it can deal up to 500+ DMG(My max DMG done was 720) in a single game IF you know how to play a Heavy properly using this laodout.

How I play is, I NEVER, EVER lead the battle but I let the ASSAULT LEAD THE BATTLE because as a Heavy, you dont lead but you give support firepower with the Assault and that means you can either flank the enemy or just stay hidden from the others by hiding behind something and peek out and do dmg then peek back in, you NEVER want to get focused or you might just die especially with only 10 read center armor, any light can crack you up in a few seconds. Also, you never want to stay behind an assault mech as they need room to move around so as suggested by The Basilisk, let the light or medium do the close range support while with this loadout, you can just stay back a few metres away further and also giving less chance of the enemy to focus you.

For the loadout as you can see from the link I provided above, engine used is XL 270 with endo steel and a single DHS. The weapons are ac/20, uac/5 and 2 medium laser. I group it up so that the ac/20 is with the same position of the laser(For example, if you put your ac/20 on your right side, you group it up with your right laser) and same goes to the uac/5 and the other laser. 6 tons of ac/20(42) ammo and 5 tons of uac/5(150) ammo.

I personally group the ammo up at both the torso because if I put it on the leg, if get legged, I will surely 100% die due to ammo explosion and the leg is low in armor too, 25. And oh yeah, try to always aim for the head or center part of the enemy, that will do tons of more damage unless you want to get salvage bonus for destroying it's component, whatever suits you hehe.

I guess that is all that I need to tell?

TL;DR
- Do not lead the fight, let assault go first.
- Do not be the one to get the attention of the enemy or you might and will die.
- Do not stay behind and assault mech and block his way especially when he want to reverse.
- Can do 500+ DMG in a single game if you know how to position well and aim well.

Loadout
- ac/20, uac/5 and 2 x ML
- one DHS
- XL 270
- 6 tons ac/20 and 5 tons uac/5

HERE'S ONE GOOD AND USEFUL TIP:
YOU ARE A HEAVY MECH, NOT AN ASSAULT SO PLEASE, DO NOT TRY TO BE A HERO AND LEAD THE FIGHT UNLESS NO ASSAULT IS AROUND

While I'm completely fine with the concept of a pure support fire role. The way you describe your playstyle is extremely poisonous for me as an dedicated assault player (At least in a pug game without voice chat wich is mandatory for working this close together)
Yes Assaults should soak dmg and attrakt attention but flanking an assault or even beeing 50m near them is just an hinderance.
Either the supporting mech strolls behind the assault, completely oblivious that big guy needs a hell of room to maneuver or the supporter gets triggerhappy and you get shoot in the back or even mor frustrating the supporting mech overtakes the assault and gets right into its LOS.
And you realy realy wont like to be shoot in your back by an AS7-RS with 2Lpulse 2Large and an AC10!

Supporting fire is completely fine, but let the close range support be done by meds and lights while the heavys hang back and lob granades and ,Missles at the enemy.
There is nothing more mind soothing than an Hunchback loaded with med pulse lasers or an streak kintaro guarding your back against lights.

Done. I edited the post on that part where Heavy should not stay behind an Assault mech. Thanks for the feedback :(

I really like putting 3x UAC5 and 4x ml on my jm6-s. It's easy to draw attention to yourself and get killed, but this is my second favorite jager due to the stupid damage potential. The heat is also sub-par, but by time you shut down (assuming you're not being conservative and are shooting all weapon about on CD) you should have been able to do at LEAST 100 solid damage on target.

On topic, and building off what I said above, my opinion on jager strategy is that they are excellent for hard, short strikes. Pushing around a corner right after an assault can be very effective. The assault will soak damage andattention, and allow you to get a strong strike in before getting noticed and shot back at. Jagers are bullet magnets so you have to be sneaky sometimes....
