The original idea is from Malleus011.
What if your team has to reach or scan a certain point on the map before artillery becomes available?
What if an additional object got spawned at a random location and the first team to do something with that object gets a bonus and/or advantage?
For example:
It takes a while to get artillery availabe during a match. Now consider this change:
We lengthen that time.
There is a sensor-tower hidden somewhere on the map. The first player to ram the tower (as we don't have manipulation yet) gets a bonus and immediately unlocks all artillery his team has brought along.
For example:
There is a sensor-tower hidden somewhere on the map. The first player to ram the tower gets a bonus and a Super-UAV is launched from the sensor-tower.
For example:
A helicopter has crash-landed somewhere in the area, with a valuable piece of hardware on-board. First Mech to reach that helicopter is marked for a bonus (-> salvage). But he only gets the bonus if he survives.

I'm all up for more objectives.
Sensor towers, or defense grid power plants that could be captured or destroyed (like in Mech commander).
LRM carrier tanks to deploy if you secure a selected sector (likely on the edge of the map) and then escort/order them to certain positions.
But I would like to see stuff like a crashsite to be it's own objective based game mode.
Could be called black-hawk-down or rather "evacutaction".
Somewhere on the map there is one (or more) crashed dropship / plane /helicopter and your team has to evacutate the VIP, or salvage something important.
With VIP, you would need to defend the crash site until a Truck or Helicopter would come for transport and escort this back to base (or extraction point).
With salvage, you would need a mech with hand actuators to carry the item back to base.

On one hand I'm like "hell yeah, objectives!" and on the other it's just another reason to scatter and get PWNed....
Maybe consider this to be an evolution of Conquest, where every resource point provides some additional functionality. But you cannot tie it to the use/restriction of any CB or MC module, make them extra things for the match/mode only.
No clue what those could be right now....
