Clan Paint Jobs

I understand that there are Lore precedents for the current colours of clan mechs inc their camo (or lack of it)
However
I am a boarderline Roleplayer and I have even gone so far as to have a bacjk story to my character. (Even if there is no where really too advertise it.)
The crucs is:
I am inner sphere and there is nothing stopping me salvaging a MAD CAT from the enemy and using it,.
So why am I locked into using thier paint schemes?

Don't worry about it, I'm sure they'll catch up with it at some point. It's not like you're actually blending in with the terrain....you've got a big, red triangle over your head, y'know?

I am perfectly happy to wait ... I have been here since the very first game announcements ... I'm used to waiting for good stuff.
I would just like some official indication if it is on thier 'To Do' list.

It definitely is when not if. The ammount of money they make on camo patterns on the inner sphere mechs confirms that they will be doing then for Clans as well

The reason for this is that it takes time to fit the skins to each mech (and in the case of some of them, make custom additions such as the buccaneer and Pranken) So for the mad cat... you have a few more months to wait unfortunately.

I think his point is there are a whole slew of camo paint textures already in game and he can't figure out why in the world they would be locked from you on the Clan mechs, especially if he is roleplaying an IS pilot with a salvaged Mad Cat.
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me either, well other than the only Clan camo currently available so happens to be twice the cost of the IS camos. Blatant money grab anyone? Of course it worked though because I ended up purchasing the Clan camo for my T-wolf variants that could use it.

My hypothesis is that they'll be rolled out at the same time as the clan 'mechs themselves are. It takes the art department time to draw up camo for all the different chassis at the same time, I can only imagine that's a huge part of even releasing one 'mech at a time. Remember the camo delays on other released 'mechs? This is times eight.
I'm calling it right now. When the Kit Fox and Nova are released, either for MC or C-bills, the camo will be concurrent. Same with the others.
The polygon camo is exclusively clan right now, and apparently costs more than IS camo.
I just want more camos, bling, and body mods, period.

Oh, I hear you. After I finally caved and wasted..er...spent $55 on a Timberwolf, there was no way in hell I was going to spend MC on a paint job. It's not like you're hiding...you've got a big, red triangle over your head.
Still, if they ever release patterns that aren't ridiculously expensive, I may get one with the leftover MC from buying a month's premium time.
My point was that the Art Department is separate from Marketing, Development, etc. I'd be willing to be they're the ones working on the visual interface and stuff for Community Warfare. I'd much rather NOT give them the idea that it would be acceptable to push the release of CW to the right for a few weeks so they can reassign the Art department the task of coming up with camo for the Clan mechs. That would really, really suck....especially considering that what the DO release will most likely be broken, half finished and a complete nightmare. Pretty much like everything else they release. UI 2.0?

I'm sure those will be released with the CBill variants. I think this same situation happened when we got the Phoenix mechs too. But we'll know for sure in a few weeks when they release the first cbill clan mechs.
