ams counted towards your damage score... yes I know this means the kit fox would generate alot of c-bills but think about it... stalkers would be more viable and anti lrm lances would be more common. This would be an easy way to elimate alot of the LRM qq (which I disagree with since I know how to use cover). If ams damage counted towards your damage score it would change (albeit slightly) how people built their mechs. IDK maybe this is a bad idea but imo this would be helpful.

Certainly worth considering.

It's just that the Cicada X-5 doesn't have an AMS slot right now. Current Clan mechs I believe all have at least one omnipod, but I could easily have missed one.

Anything that encourages people to take AMS is good, we see too little of it, and LRMS are somewhat dominant

Absolutely agree, if you hang back ot provide ECM and AMS coverage, you get almost no reward at ther end of the match. A reward either per missile or per ally shielded would be fantastic.
