Good day all, I'm currently upgrading my computer, and I have bought these components (I'm pretty bad at computers so apologies for all mistakes there might be):
CPU - AMD FX-4100 3.6 Ghz
Motherboard - Asus M5A78L LE 760G AM3+ ATX (http://www.asus.com/...Plus/M5A78L_LE/)
RAM - 8GB (Kingston HyperX)
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 (Didnt buy this, already had it, not the best GPU but fine enough)
However, I can't fit this motherboard into my current PC case (some HP Compaq), so Im going to need a new case, and also I'm not sure if my current 300 W PSU is enough to power this setup, so I'm going to need a little bit of advice.
I considered getting this case with PSU:

Would this be fine (enough power, everything would fit in?)
Upgrading my PC, need some help with Case and PSU

Well, not sure what power supply was there as it notes optional...or at least what was displayed to me. If you pop on over to Newegg.com, they have some good deals on PSU and Case deals. If you plan on upgrading in the future, I would get a larger PSU that can stick with you for a while. Right now you are at the requirements (at least what Nvidia notes) for your video card. If you plan on replacing the video card, I would go with maybe a 600w or even 750w to give you some head room. 600 should do you for higher end cards and you can get away with 750 for some sli and cross fire (multiple cards at once) set ups. Hope this helps, feel free to ask more.

I would suggest the Antec gaming three hundred two. its a large well built case with good internal room and strength. I recently bought one for my upgrade and I am very happy with it. I built the rig from parts and everything went in with room to spare. the airflow is great and it has grommets for liquid cooling if you decide to go that route. the cable management on the right side is about 2cm which means you can hide all those extra cables from your PSU easily.very good quality for the price.check out this video if your interested. I would also reccommend atleast a 700W PSU, 1000W if you got spare cash. Corsair Enthusiast series 750W is a good choice. http://www.corsair.c...wer-supply.html
both good products from my experiance.

Important thing to know would be a budget for case and PSU, 1000w is always nice and should last several upgrades....but comes at a cost.

Nah. Elite series are basic low cost product. Thin walls, poor ventilation, etc.
I'd suggest this case:
http://www.coolermas...product_id=6750
It's more expensive, but not to much. Has a very good inner design, ventilation, material quality.
But more importantly, if you decide to stick with Elite, DO NOT buy standard PSU. Usually it's Extreme series. They are not bad, not at all. But are very basic. PSU is the heart of Desktop. Dysfunction in PSU could fry most of your hardware. Stable voltages are also VERY important.
Among Cooler Master, Silent Pro series are quite good. Though not the best in the market. And they are really quite.
If Silent Pro is a bit pricey, some XFX PSU could do the trick VERY well.
http://xfxforce.com/...e-Gray-Fan.aspx as an example.
It's a good PSU, good charateristic, reasonable price. The only downside, is if you mount it in chassis cooler facing down(not a very common practice), it'll become very noisy very soon.

I do not recommend you get that, look for a corsair builder series PSU at the low end. For a case, I recommend a logysis optimus 2.
i also recommend a different motherboard if you haven't
bought that one already.

Antec generally makes great cases at varying price points, so just pick one of those and you'll be okay. I personally went with a higher end Antec P280 due to its solid performance in both cooling and quiet computing characteristics, but there's no need to spend that much on a case if you're on a tighter budget. Just don't get some crappy $30 case--they are usually not sturdy, well built or well engineered.
As for power supply, you really don't need to go higher than 600W on a good quality unit if you use only one graphics card, unless you're doing some weird overclocking stuff.
