Not sure if it's just me, but I consistently have an issue where, after the lrm lock goes red, I fire and the first wave of missiles don't lock on...they just hit the ground where the reticle was pointed. The second wave of missiles tracks like it should.

It's not just you. It's annoying and hopefully they will fix it. For know all you can do is wait an extra few seconds to make sure you're locked on before firing. Listen carefully for the lock-on sound to complete before firing.

Tip: You will notice the sound is NOT at the same time as the reticule color change. Fire when you hear the lock-on sound, not when the cursor changes color.

It is a glitch as the two are supposed to be synced, but the reticule used to lock up (refuse to change) and in fixing it, instead of having performance anxiety it now finishes prematurely.
