Heat based moment penalties have been badly needed for 3+ years.

Even a six AC/2 build was inferior to dual AC/20s back when that build actually worked. You needed at least 2 seconds on target to match the damage output of a single AC/40 snapshot, that is almost impossible to achieve against even halfway decent players.

Yes the dual ac-20 has a very high damage impulse. The notion of a halfway decent player is one that tries to min max the meta vs. others who dont. It creates a clear advantage and thus reenforces the meta. Game mechanics shouldn't be promoting this - perfect convergent shots. fix that and multiple ac-2 builds are closer in performance to dual ac-20's.

Peek... shoot.. hide reload and cool off... repeat. The game play is way too much like World of tanks.
