Light Fall Damage

i play lights often, the new damage scale seems excessive for lights, ( it seemed excessive before it was implemented) but now , i feel its worse. that's not even factoring in jump jets. equipping jump jets on lights today is more dangerous than driving around in a 73 Ford Pinto with a quarter tank of gas.... BOOM BABY... couple of leaps and a couple of sweeps and your the kid from My Left Foot.

now knowing that you plan to implement the 3's rule ( you guys are really in love with that idea, i don't know why, i mean lets face it, i didn't work the last 3 times you paraded it out there) 25% of us are going to be expected to take lights. who wants to pilot a mech that leaves the drop ship lame? not me!

Dude, the leg damage that lights take now makes total sense, dismissing any clan superiority; if I were going to design say, an off-road racer. I would totally make that **** where your tires exploded whenever you hit a curb driving on a nice safe street. My spider feels so op being able to get run into by not only two teammates, but taking one clan med laser to sweep it before I'm dead in the water. Really nice balance job guys. There's no way a designer would make a thing that could jump, and absorb any of the shock. That just doesn't make sense.

It was supposed to be toned down for this patch but apparently PGI dropped the ball so it's not in yet.

I've bought some mechs in each class, and found that lights are the most fun for me. I often play my mediums and heavies though, because non ecm lights are so inferior.

With the fall damage as it is, the damage I get from moving is the difference between having an interior yellow leg and losing a leg and dying two seconds later. I'm only playing lights in premades where the team is full of heavy ones.
