fall damage calculation works correclty but the settings are incorrect

light mechs are capable to run through uneven trerrain with a speed of up to 171 km/h
they accelerate within 1 sec to maximum speed, that means the acceleration of a 35t jenner up to 152 km/h is about 42m/s/s!
the legs of those mechs are designet to endure and amortise such accelerations

a fall with vertical speed about 11,582 m/s must not cause any damage!

I will not bore you with further calculations of properties of the legs in the matter of amortization and endurance relating to the acceleration above, but the vertical fall speed that could cause fall damage is about 25 m/s, more than twice you´ve set

fix it for better relativity, please!

english is not my first language, i hope you understand me

Vertical and horizontal speeds are not the same. In order to calculate the "fall damage" of running at 171kph, you need to measure how much vertical downward force the leg-falls of the mech produce. I guarantee it's nowhere near -30 m/sec. :D

with horizontal acceleration you can calculate the amortization and endurance of the legs and with these values you can calculate the max vertical speed

its not a car having one system to move horizontal (wheels) and one to "moving" vertical (suspension)
in a mech is only one system for both - legs
