I'll start.

Overview:
In the aftemath of their excursion into the Lyran Alliance and the subsequent
counter-invasion by the LAAF into the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone in 3064, Clan
Jade Falcon obtained thousands of tons of Inner Sphere 'Mechs and equipment as
salvage. Though a conservative Crusade Clan, the Jade Falcon Khan Marthe Pryde
realized her Touman, battered after waging brutal back-to-back campaigns,
needed to utilize every asset available - including fielding captured Inner
Sphere 'Mechs.
In the aftermath of Operation Audacity, Clan technicians managed to salvage
almost a battalion's worth of one BattleMech chassis in particular - the DVS-2
Devastator - a Star League 'Mech said to be designed by Aleksandr Kerensky
himself, in varying condition from fallen LAAF forces and from the now defunct
Storm's Metal Thunder mercenary command.
Seeing potential in the Devastator after observing its effectiveness in combat,
Khan Marthe Pryde ordered Jade Falcon technicians to piece together a Clan
version of the 'Mech, heeding Clan doctrine to minimize as much waste as
possible, she ordered technicians and engineers to use as much of the original
salvaged chassis as possible to marginalize the resources and time needed to
design a new BattleMech.
Though the first run of Devastator IIC's employ several subsystems produced in
the Inner Sphere, the Jade Falcons have already begun tooling a production line
for support components such as communication and sensor gear on Sudeten to
ensure they can continue the manufacture of Devastator IIC's even after their
surplus salvage runs out.
Capabilities:
The Falcon techs devised a method of converting Inner Sphere 300 extra-light
fusion reactors salvaged en masse from the Metal Thunder Devastators and the
Marauders and Marauder II's of the late Barber's Marauder IIs on Koniz to work
in conjunction with Clan 'Mechs. By retrofitting Inner Sphere reactors to Clan
specifications took a fraction of the resources and time it would take to build a
Clan reactor, allowing the Devastator IIC to be built and fielded quickly.
The Jade Falcon engineers rebuilt several salvaged Devastators from the
ground up to gain complete working knowledge on the ins-and-outs of the
structure, developing blue-prints required to reproduce the 'Mech at a new
manufacturing site on Sudeten. The first examples of the Devastator IIC are
powered by the retrofitted Inner Sphere reactors reverse-engineered at a
facility on Sudeten, though later production runs Devastator IIC's will be
built with Clan fusion reactors as the supply of salvaged engines runs out.
Superior Clan technology replaces the already-formidable Spheroid weapon
systems; the Devastator IIC maintains a similar offensive weapons package as
the original DVS-2, with an exception of lacking the medium lasers of the Inner
Sphere 'Mech. As Clan particle projection cannons have superior capacitors and
lack the minimum range of their lower-tech Inner Sphere counterparts, the lasers
were deemed unnecessary and replaced with a third ER PPC. The additional
particle cannon allows the Devastator IIC nearly the same amount of firepower as the
brace of lasers, but concentrated in one package with a longer range profile.
The Clan Devastator IIC has almost an over-abundance of firepower it can bestow
upon an enemy; rare is a 'Mech - Clan or Inner Sphere - that can weather
through a broadside from so many heavy weapons let loose in one salvo at
extreme ranges. To ensure the Devastator IIC can maintain its devastating
firepower upon the enemy for extended periods, Falcon engineers installed
additional double heat sinks to aid in the additional heat generated by the
third extended-ranged particle projector.
Deployment:
As OmniMechs are short due to losses from the Refusal War, Coventry campaign,
and frequent border skirmishes with the Lyran Alliance and Wolf Clan, the first
Devastator IIC's have been posted in front-line assault clusters along side
OmniMechs such as the Dire Wolf and Turkina. Though the Devastator IIC is an
extremely capable assault 'Mech by any standard, many Jade Falcon warriors look
at it as an abomination combination of Clan and Spheroid technology and being
billeted to a Devastator IIC is looked upon as a dishonor by Trueborns.
However, as Devastator IIC's begins to trickle into second-line formations, it
is gaining increased popularity amongst freebirth and older warriors past their
prime, a fact that angers the Trueborns assigned to pilot the 'Mech even more.
Notable 'Mechs & MechWarriors:
Star Commander Milko Buhallin - Earning his trial by fire in the 3058 invasion
of Coventry, Star Commander Milko Buhallin was considered a ristar and
successfully became one of the youngest Jade Falcon warriors to earn a
Bloodname - however during the fighting on Machida, Milko Buhallin had his
Turkina shot from under him and was the only member of his Star to survive the
battle. Quickly being reassigned to a Night Gyr and ordered to one of saKhan
Samantha Clees' clusters in response to Operation Audacity, Milko Buhallin was
dishonored again when his entire Star was destroyed during fighting on
Blackjack, his own Night Gyr destroyed by a Devastator from the Fourteenth
Donegal Guard. To add insult to injury, the former ristar was assigned to pilot
a Devastator IIC, as he is deemed too incompetent to trust yet another OmniMech
with.
Star Captain Jefferton - Commanding a garrison trinary on LaGrave, a planet on
the Jade Falcon/Wolf OZ border, Star Captain Jefferton was assigned to a
Devastator IIC shortly before the Wolves engaged in their campaign into the
Jade Falcon OZ in early 3065. The fighting on LaGrave was some of the most
intense during the Wolf invasion, and Star Captain Jefferton and his Devastator
IIC were credited with several kills, mostly OmniMechs, and he and his
Devastator IIC have become somewhat celebrities amongst the freebirth warriors
of Clan Jade Falcon.
