We've got 41 pilots now. Usually we've got a unit on, and on practice nights we have 15-20 online.
However, this week attendance is down to 25-50% at best. After about a year and a half in the community as a leader, I think I can accurately gauge community sentiment (especially since I'm just listening to my pilots).
People are unhappy, and the reason seems to be a combination of the Clan 'mech "superiority effect" and the group queue.
I can deal with one, PGI.
Cut me a break on the other.
You didn't properly balance clan 'mechs. You can't use the values from the tabletop and then just hope it works. Sprinkling them into games at random was a bad idea as well.
If they are going to be among the IS tech, with no penalty or restriction, then it has to be the same tech curve. In the style of game you have chosen to go with, this is the only model you can use. Or make it 10 clan vs 12 IS, like in the tabletop (with tonnage limits).
Community Warfare isn't going to cut it anymore, because at this rate no one will be here to partake except pilots in Clan mechs. Not only that, but you've taken so long we've made our own leagues.
I think that's what you want anyway - everyone now has to obtain clan tech, or **** off. Pay to Win, MWO is finally.
Also, the new module system proposed in Dev Log 6 is absolutely ridiculous. No one bought your crappy weapon modules, so now you're forcing us to do so.
FANTASTIC ******* DESIGN TEAM.
I want some kind of answer on Clan tech balancing, so I can keep my unit together. Already they are barking for other games. Our time is limited.
